This is an image of the Thermopylae Pass, where the Battle of Thermopylae was fought in 480 B.C. Though the ocean shore line has recede over the last 2500 years. Where the street is now is where the ocean shore would have been when Leonidas was alive. The building off the road to the top left of the picture is actually a moment to the legendary Spartans.
